Senior Portraits

My beautiful little sister had her Senior Portraits taken today at the Gardens at Shakespeare. DiAnna Paulk (who is doing Edward's portraits) shot these great pictures. It is so hard to believe she is a Senior this year. I thought I would post a couple for those of you who remember Hollister as a baby!!

New Toy

Edward has discovered a new toy. He loves to put any and everything in his mouth. Lately, I have been giving him this rubber spatula to play with when he takes a bath. Today, he took it just about everywhere we went. It seemed to keep him entertained for a long time. He loves it now but I'm sure he won't love it so much when he's getting spanked with it!!

Swingin'

Today Thomas and I took Edward to the park. It was such a beautiful day and I look forward to this time of year. Here are some pictures of Edward swinging. He loved it!! (and yes I am one of those neurotic germ-a-phobe mothers that has to have something protecting my child!!)

6 Month Check-Up

Yesterday Edward had his 6 month check up. It had to be postponed two weeks due to him catching a weeklong fever virus (which was miserable!). He is doing much better now! He weighed 17lbs 4oz. and was 26 inches long. I can't believe my baby boy will be 7 months at the end of this month. Time truly does fly. He has been sitting up without help for over a month now. He has two little bitty (precious) front teeth. He doesn't seem to have much interest in crawling, but scoots around in the sitting position. He is such a joy! I LOVE being a mom!!

Eating his first "cookie" (a Gerber Biter Biscuit) - He loved it!!

6 Month Portraits

Saturday Edward and I ventured to Montgomery for his 6 month portraits with DiAnna Paulk. They were taken at the Gardens at Shakespeare. Edward loves being outdoors and he was too interested in his new surroundings to give us a big smile. Here are a few pictures for a "sneak peek." Enjoy!!

New Business Venture

Well, I've decided to take on a new job (as if stay at home mom wasn't enough)! I have recently become a consultant for a company called Thirty-One. This company was founded based on Proverbs 31. In this passage, it refers to a woman who worked in her community for her family. We offer a great selection of gifts and accessories that are fun, stylish, useful and affordable. A great thing about Thirty-One is that most of the products include personalization. With that being said, if anyone is interested in hosting a party or purchasing any products, please feel free to contact me. You can visit my website to purchase items online. www.mythirtyone.com/katiecorbitt

AU vs. LSU

Edward and I decided we would tailgate with our good friends, the Koens, for the Auburn game. Thomas was playing for a tailgate party so I figured instead of sitting at home we'd tailgate. Here are a few pictures of our afternoon on the lawn of Samford Hall. War Eagle!
